Cooperative Employee Education

To help cooperative staff provide the best possible service to members, NRECA offers classroom-based and online instruction employee education in many disciplines that include supervisory skills, communications, engineering, safety and management.

Several of these classes are based in our satellite facility at the University of Wisconsin Fluno Center for Executive Education.

For high-level cooperative employees, NRECA offers the Robert I. Kabat Management Internship Program at The University of Wisconsin. This intensive program provides technical, conceptual and leadership training over a six-week period.

NRECA offers cooperative employees educational conferences in the following areas:

  • Accounting, Finance and Tax
  • Executive and Administrative Assistant skills
  • Communications and Member Services

NRECA also sponsors TechAdvantage, a premier event for co-op executives and managers that emphasizes cutting-edge technologies in such areas as IT, utility and power management, supply chain and loss control.
