ACRE logoThe Action Committee for Rural Electrification (ACRE®) is NRECA's political action committee.

ACRE is truly a grassroots PAC. NRECA has the opportunity to motivate its 42 million consumer-owners to be politically active through the ACRE Co-op Owners for Political Action™ program. Over 7,000 of our members are electric co-op consumer-owners who have joined the ACRE Co-op Owners for Political Action!

ACRE makes campaign contributions to candidates for Congress who support electric cooperative goals and share our cooperative values.

ACRE raises personal, voluntary contributions from NRECA's eligible membership. Federal law prohibits soliciting contributions from individuals other than NRECA and member-system's eligible employees, boards of directors, consumer-owners and the family of such individuals. Contributions from ineligible individuals will be returned. For more information on the ACRE program or eligibility to participate, please contact Mike Whelan, ACRE Manager, at 703-907-5826 or
