Since October 1942, RE Magazine has served as the official voice of NRECA. It’s the “read” of choice for electric cooperative decision-makers and staff who want to stay in touch with their peers and on top of industry challenges and innovations. We’ve earned this loyal following through our consistently insightful, timely coverage of all things electric co-op.

Published by the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, is the flagship news site dedicated to coverage of the electric cooperative industry. The site had its beginnings in 1995 as the association’s weekly newspaper, Electric Co-op Today. The print edition took its final bow in 2009; this website debuted in 2010. Now, as then, its mission remains the same: “We bring insight, knowledge and the practice of journalism to our focus on the issues and events that are critical to the success of the nation’s rural electric cooperatives and the well-being of the consumers they serve.”
